Wimbledon 2026
Wimbledon 2026 is over. Jannik Sinner beat Alexander Zverev 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-4 to defend his title, take a fifth Grand Slam and beat Zverev for the tenth straight time. In the ladies' final, Linda Nosková beat Karolína Muchová 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in an all-Czech decider to become the youngest Wimbledon champion since 2011.
tail.bet tracked 1,310 whale bets worth $45.5M across the fortnight. Sinner was the most-backed player in the draw and delivered. Nosková, who won the women's title, was only the eighth most-backed — and on her way to it she took out the tournament's two most expensive tickets. Read the full results and whale-money breakdown →

The Championships
Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and the only Grand Slam still played on grass, a fast, low-bouncing surface that rewards big serving and forward play. 128 players in each singles draw, best-of-five sets for the men, best-of-three for the women, over a fortnight at the All England Club. The women's final is 11 July, the men's final 12 July 2026.
