Corrections policy

tail.bet is a public record, so getting it right matters. Here is how we handle errors.

Bet data

Bets are captured automatically from Stake's public high-roller feed and their outcomes are graded when the match settles. Individual bet pages update on their own as settlements come through. If a bet is mis-graded, mis-parsed, or a stake/odds figure is wrong, we correct the underlying record as soon as it's identified, and the affected aggregations and rankings recompute on the next rebuild.

Articles & recaps

Recap articles are compiled from the same live data (see our methodology). If a figure in an article turns out to be wrong because the underlying data was later corrected, we update the article to match. We do not silently rewrite an article's substance after publication to change its story — factual corrections only, consistent with our editorial standard of never editing the record after the fact.
